Fujitsu to market its handsets in Asia, says paper

Fujitsu plans to offer its mobile phones in some of the markets in Asia as the domestic market in Japan is projected to remain weak, the Chinese-language Commercial Times quoted a Nikkei report as indicating.

Fujitsu has worked with NTT DoCoMO to develop Chinese- and Korea-language software, to enable the company to modify its handsets for overseas markets, said the paper, noting that it will begin soon to market its F905i handset in Taiwan in cooperation with Taiwan-based Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET).
