The W508 Walkman is a HSDPA clamshell phone providing a mobile entertainment experience - music management using Shake Control, SensMeā¢ and Gesture Control, track discovery using TrackIDā¢ music recognition service, more content downloadable from PlayNowā¢ arena online store and personalization using Style-Up covers.
Shake Control enables volume or track shuffle function to be changed by giving the phone a quick shake. Gesture Control means a swipe of a hand mutes incoming calls or puts the alarm clock on snooze without touching the phone.
The W508 also includes a 320x240 pixel 262K TFT QVGA display, 100MB internal memory, extendable external memory using Memory Stick Microā¢ and 3.2 megapixel camera.
The W508 and W508a will be available during Q2 2009.
