Ericsson introduced the technology that provides Hi-Fi quality of voice transmission in mobile networks
Company Ericsson introduced and demonstrated at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, a new technology to ensure high-quality voice communication in mobile networks - AMR Wideband. This technology can be implemented as a network standard GSM, and WCDMA / HSPA-networks. AMR Wideband provides us with the words, crystal clear Hi-Fi quality of voice in mobile devices that support this feature.
AMR (Adaptive Multi Rate - Adaptive multiskorostnoy) Wideband is a standardized speech coding technology in the networks of GSM / WCDMA, which allows to significantly increase voice quality and clarity in the networks of mobile and fixed communications. A new algorithm for speech compression allows to double bandwidth for voice without any additional requirements for radio frequency spectrum or the transfer of votes.
