Ericsson TEMS sends business products company Ascom

The company Ericsson has announced today an agreement to transfer the company Ascom business producing and selling products TEMS, which include tools for monitoring and planning of radio networks. The deal involves a transition to the state Ascom about 300 professionals, 180 of whom work in Sweden. All operations on the transaction scheduled for completion in June this year. This is due to the words of the company that Ericsson intends to pay greater attention to professional services for network operators, and to this end, optimizing the portfolio of proposals in this field.

Products from Ericsson TEMS include radio monitoring and radio network planning. The cost of the transaction was 190 million Swiss francs, net of assets and liabilities.

According to Ericsson, the agreement will help to overestimate the growth potential of the business TEMS. Ascom will be available to highly qualified professionals, generally, the best in the industry products and a major customer base. The deal, according to its part, will also benefit customers, partners and employees of Ericsson, who will soon begin to reap the benefits of this decision.
