Samsung unveils a touch of brilliance with the Tocco Ultra Edition
The world’s first full touch phone with slide-out 3x4 keypad
London, UK, – Samsung Electronics UK Ltd, unveiled its flagship handset for 2009, the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition. Following on from Samsung’s successes in 2008, which saw the Mobile division take the number 1 spot in UK mobile sales, the Tocco Ultra Edition is set to engage new audiences and reinforce Samsung’s leadership in the Touch, Style and Slide categories. The Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition builds on the great success and momentum created by Tocco; the UK’s best selling contract device in the second half of 2008.
The Tocco Ultra Edition is the world’s first handset to combine an easy to use, visually stunning, full touch screen with the everyday familiarity and convenience of a 3x4 keypad to deliver a new user experience that fits with the way people want to use their mobile phone. The Tocco Ultra Edition draws on Samsung’s long heritage as a leading creator of slider phones, and is the latest device in The Ultra Edition range which was introduced in 2006.
