Taiwan-based Tsann Kuen, Clevo to offer online shopping services in China
Tsann Kuen Enterprise, the operator of the Tsann Kuen retail chain in Taiwan, and a second-tier Taiwan-based notebook maker Clevo will launch an online shopping service for IT and consumer electronics products in the China market, according to the two companies.
Tsann Kuen will use two factories of its subsidiary in Ximen, southeastern China, as a logistics center for the business operation and aims at annual sales revenues of NT$5 billion (US$148 million) in three years, the company pointed out.
Clevo has set up a retail chain, Buynow, with 17 stores in China already, and will extend its retail operation to online shopping beginning July 2009, the company indicated.
