Foxconn revenues drop in April
Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has reported monthly revenues of NT$94.407 billion (US$2.82 billion) for April 2009, representing a decrease of 8.23% on month and 8.22% on year. The company's January-April revenues of NT$372.406 billion were also down by 7.98% on year.
Foxconn pointed out that sales performance in April was still rather stable compared to other makers', and that a trend of decline in April has been seen in previous years.
Foxconn remains conservative about its performance in the second quarter and expects to hold level sequentially.
