Computex 2009: Inventec Appliances enters netbook segment
Taiwan-based handset vendor Inventec Appliances has entered the netbook market, positioning itself to compete with its affiliate company Inventec in both the smartphone and netbook segments.
Inventec Appliances' Rainbow-series 10.1-inch netbook is currently being displayed at the Nvidia booth at Computex 2009 as the netbook is built on Nvidia's Tegra 600 platform.
The LED-backlit Rainbow netbook runs on Windows CE 6.0 and supports 3G, 802.11n, Bluetooth and mobile TV.
