Orise says orders from China handset customers remain strong
LCD driver IC designer Orise Technology has forecast revenues from August through October 2009 will continue to be driven up by strong orders of small-size driver ICs from China's handset market.
Revenue share of driver ICs to China's handset makers has increased to 20%, from 12-13% in 2008, and is expected to reach 30% by the end of 2009, according to the company.
Orise is currently working with panel makers on touch panel solutions and expects to see significant results in 2010.
