Polish operator PTC ERA preferred architecture of Cisco IP NGN
Polish mobile operator PTC ERA deploys Cisco IP NGN architecture with the decision of Cisco MToP. Technology and functionality of Cisco IP NGN operators to transform the experience of suppliers, creating conditions for "connected life." Carried out by the Polish mobile operator, a project to install Cisco MToP solutions for IP RAN transport network allows you to create a single network infrastructure, based entirely on the standards of IP aggregation point to the highway network. According to a study by Cisco Visual Networking Index Global Mobile Traffic Forecast, 2008-2013 ( «Index of visual development of network technologies: the future global mobile traffic, the years 2008-2013»), for the period from 2008 to 2013 global mobile IP-traffic to grow in 66 times.
PTC ERA company transformed its national network services and moved them into a high-speed mobile Internet with the help of multi-IP-system supporting the traffic of any type. The main requirement, and differentiating condition of this project was to support multiple mobile subsystems from different manufacturers.
The project was entrusted to the company Cisco, because it allegedly showed the highest willingness to supply highly reliable IP RAN transport system to support the constantly growing demands of mobile Internet-transformation.
