Madhouse Provides Third-party Mobile Advertising Tracking Service
SHANGHAI, China, -- During its Third China Mobile Marketing Forum, Madhouse announced that it would provide a free mobile advertising tracking service named "mWebTracker" for advertisers who serve mobile ads on MadNetwork(TM) through MadServing(TM) beginning in 2009. Certified and co-developed by iResearch, mWebTracker is the first third-party mobile ad tracking platform in China and will allow advertisers to track advertisements in real time on the mobile internet.
mWebTracker will monitor site traffic via tracking codes on mobile internet sites and analyze the data on its proprietary platform. mWebTracker will allow advertisers to evaluate the effectiveness of a selected mobile site, the ability of a campaign to reach targeted users, and evaluate the coverage and effectiveness of mobile internet advertisements on a real time basis. The tracking service will also allow advertisers to analyze users by geography, handset brand, and retail price segment to analyze the efficacy of a campaign according to different parameters. By providing the number of clicks generated by selected advertising positions, mWebTracker will also allow agencies and advertisers to understand the effectiveness of different ad positions, evaluate ad serving on different mobile media, adjust their media strategies if needed, and work to increase ROI.
Henry Yang, Founder and President of iResearch, said, "With the start of 3G, mobile marketing is showing a strong growth trend in China. According to data from iResearch, the mobile marketing market in China reached RMB 280 million in 2008 and is expected to grow to RMB 2.76 billion in 2011, maintaining a growth rate of over 100% in the next few years. As advertisers increase the portion of their media budgets allocated to mobile marketing, the question of how to accurately evaluate mobile advertising and to understand the characteristics of a given target audience are extremely important. We expect mWebTracker to create an objective and fair ad tracking platform for advertisers, agencies, and mobile publishers, and to offer the most accurate data in regards to mobile internet ad serving and result assessment."
"Mobile marketing in China has experienced rapid growth over the past three years and is becoming increasingly accepted. We believe the launch of mWebTracker will help promote the healthy development of China's mobile marketing industry," said Joshua Maa, CEO and Founder of Madhouse. "Madhouse is always dedicated to providing advertisers with the best and most comprehensive mobile marketing service, and is more than happy to provide this free mobile advertising service."
