Mobile PC with the phone in the new edition of MIUTech
Company MIUTech, offering the market a hybrid of a mobile PC and mobile phone, updated model of HDPC. This is the fourth variation of the device since 2006, when this model first debuted in the market. Changes in the updated version touched literally all: the processor, appearance, display, etc. The only thing that remained unchanged from the previous model - a choice of operating system: the computer still running Windows XP, but for the phone unit is Windows CE. However, for the fans there is the option of using the OS based on Linux.
As before the device consists of two almost independent parts - ultramobilnogo PC and mobile phone. Each of them is controlled by its processor, has its own operating system, screen and keyboard. 4-th generation HDPC got the processor Intel Atom Z530 c clock speed of 1.6 GHz, and the phone unit uses the same processor ARM9 previously used. In general, the phone functions do not have, any significant changes, except for the introduction of 2.4-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels.
The device is placed in the body size 154h75h23 mm and weighs 292 grams. The computer unit has a 32 GB SSD-memory (the minimum value option can be set and more capacious), 1 GB of RAM and a QWERTY-keyboard, combined with the 4.8-inch touch screen with a resolution 1024h600 pixels. In addition, the model has already five cameras - a 5-megapixel with three optical and two increases in VGA-permit «for web and video». Also new HDPC got HDMI and HD-Audio port, microSD-slot, WiFi module and GPS, plus the indispensable USB-connector.
Now MIUTech ready to supply equipment dealers, but the cost of the device is not specified. Presented earlier model proposed a few options at a price of 500 to 900 dollars depending on configuration.
