ESET NOD32 Mobile - mobile antivirus
The company announced the launch of ESET antivirus ESET NOD32 Mobile - solution for protecting mobile devices, using technology to proactively detect malware.
According to the developer, ESET NOD32 Mobile Antivirus provides information protection for smartphones and Pocket PCs with the Windows Mobile platform by sms-spam, viruses, trojans and spyware and other dangerous and unwanted software.
At the core of the anti-virus technology is proactive protection ThreatSence, allowing to accurately and rapidly detect new unknown malware before its introduction in the signature database. Эвристический анализатор тщательно сканирует все данные, полученные через Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, инфракрасный порт, GPRS и EDGE на наличие вредоносного кода, предотвращая попытки установки опасных и нежелательных программ на мобильное устройство.
All suspicious files are placed under "quarantine", and the user may choose to restore them or delete them. No advertising, fraud and other unwanted content are tracked through the spam filter and sent to the section «spam».
The solution takes about 500 KB and uses in the scanning mode just 1 MB of memory (RAM). Thus, even when scanning large files, the work of anti-virus does not slow down your mobile device and almost invisible to the user.
