Performance PC in mobile phones with the new 1 GHz processor Samsung
South Korean company Samsung Electronics today announced two new models of mobile applications processors with 1 GHz, built on the basis of processor architecture ARM Cortex-A8: S5PC110 and S5PV210. Processor S5PC110 is intended primarily for installation in devices with small form factor, such as, for example, high-performance multimedia smartphones, while the model S5PV210 is intended for laptops and netbooks, which require high performance and versatility.
The main advantage provided by processors, with the words producer, is their high performance and rich multimedia capabilities and low power consumption, which should affect the duration of the portable devices running on batteries. Both chips are built using 45 nm process technology, have 32 KB data cache and the same amount of instruction cache, a high volume (512 kB) of the second cache (L2) level, which in combination with high (1 GHz) clock and built-in support for common 3D graphics allow you to create mobile devices with the "smooth" the display of graphics and advanced user interface. In addition, the processors are integrated a1080p full HD codecs and interface HDMI1.3, allowing you to display Full HD video at 30 fps on the external HD digital displays.
