Silitech sees monthly revenues hit record in August

Taiwan-based handset keypad maker Silitech Technology saw its consolidated revenues hit a record at NT$1.01 billion (US$30.7 million) in August 2009, up 9% on month and 24% on year, according to company data.

Combined revenues of handset keypads and light metal casings totaled NT$922 million in August and accounted for 92% of total revenues. Revenues of automotive parts reached NT$63 million for a 6% share and office automation parts revenues amounted to NT$29 million for a 3% share, the company said.

For the first eight months of 2009, consolidated revenues topped 6.58 billion, increasing 16% from a year earlier.
