As Small Business Week Concludes, Sprint Salutes Small Business Owners with Solutions, Savings and State-of-the-Art Devices - Available All Year Long
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. --To extend the Small Business Week celebration (May 23-29), Sprint (NYSE:S) reinforced its commitment to small businesses with discounts and a mixed bag of bonuses for corporate-liable accounts aimed to give small businesses the competitive edge they want - every week of the year.
* Instant discounts - on select devices, with no need to mail in a rebate form. Sprint will offer these devices (www.sprint.com/business) at the same low price as big businesses pay.
* Volume discounts - monthly service discounts to help small businesses' bottom line. These discounts are available when a small business grows to five or more corporate-liable lines (www.sprint.com/volume).
* Rate plan analysis - customers can find out which price plan offers the best buy, working directly with a Sprint sales representative at their nearest Sprint retail store. Small business customers may also call a sales rep for personalized help at (866) 805-9890, or make an appointment at their nearest Sprint retail store by going to www.sprintstorelocator.com.
* Ready Now for Business - in-store, one-on-one help from an expert Sprint sales representative to set up phones and applications - avoiding costly delays related to figuring out a wireless device (www.readynow.sprint.com).
* 30-Day Guarantee - as a new or existing customer adding a new line, Sprint offers 30 days to try its service for free. If, for any reason, customers want to cancel, Sprint urges them to call and deactivate service and return undamaged phones or mobile broadband cards to the store where they bought them - no questions asked.
Added to the list of offers and bonuses, Sprint recently announced the availability of 4G Mobile Broadband Connection plans tailored to small businesses - with one to five employees and more than six employees - starting at only $44.99 per month, excluding taxes and Sprint surcharges. 4G represents a huge advantage for small businesses, enabling faster downloads, simultaneous usage of multiple applications and video streaming at speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G.* Business customers can also receive monthly discounts when purchasing various service options from Sprint, such as a voice plan for their phone and mobile broadband card for wireless internet service, making mobility and connectivity easier for a small business customer without maxing out their monthly bill.
"What Sprint strives to do for small business owners - every week, not just Small Business Week - is to make it easier to learn about new products and services, simplify the purchase process and instill confidence that the products and services selected will provide increased employee productivity and improved customer satisfaction, " said Tom Shaughnessy, director-Sprint Small Business. "It's more than products and services. As a Sprint Small Business customer, our clients also receive special discounts and added-value extras that make it easier to manage their accounts."
Shaughnessy added that Sprint makes it easy for small businesses to get geared up with the right communications solution with one of the industry's widest selections of handsets and some of the highest value calling and data plans.
"It's as simple as choosing one of our devices - smart phones, Nextel Direct Connect(R) phones, Mobile Broadband cards, or personal hotspots - then picking any of a number of our customized, small business pricing plans that typically offer substantial cost savings over comparable AT&T or Verizon plans. Most of these plans pack extra value - like unlimited Nextel Direct Connect and Group Connect calling. Selecting a device and a plan comes with personalized service, too, whether it's consulting with a sales person by phone, working one on one with a rep in our retail stores, or getting your questions answered online."

That was practically a great opportunity for small businesses. Having to acquire devices that are essential for their operation in a quite affordable prices lessen their operational costs and giving a wider range for some other expenses for the business.
