LG Aloha spotted at the FCC, on its way to AT&T?

When we first learned Verizon was launching an Android phone made by LG, many assumed it was the LG “Aloha”, but it actually turned out to be the LG Ally. There is still another high-end LG Android coming which has gone by many names including Aloha, Eclipse, C710, and LU2300. No matter what you call it, LG’s high-end phone is said to feature Android 2.1, a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and sliding QWERTY keyboard.

A new phone spotted on the FCC’s site with the model number LG-C710h appears to headed for AT&T. The LG C710 supports WCDMA bands II and V (1900/850) which are the same frequencies used for AT&T’s 3G network.

LG has told us they wanted to greatly expand their Android lineup across all the major U.S. carriers, so this phone fits in with their plan. AT&T currently offers six LG phones through their online store, so we know the companies have a strong working relationship.

AT&T only has one Android phone on the market (the Motorola Backflip), but we are starting to lose count of all the rumored launches that are coming. Between the Samsung Galaxy S, Dell Streak 5, and future exclusive HTC Phone, AT&T customers should have a lot of options to choose from later this year.

Rumored specs include of the LG Aloha C710 include:

* Android 2.1
* 1 GHz Snapdragon processor
* 3.5-inch AMOLED 800×480 touch display
* Sliding 4-row QWERTY keyboard
* 5 megapixel camera
* 720p HD DivX compatible playback
* WiFi, GPS, DMB tuner
