Beeline expands 3G network in the Leningrad region

Operator VimpelCom has announced that in March 2011 the network 3G «Beeline covered eight new settlements in Leningrad region and the town Red Village in St. Petersburg.

Now to take advantage of the network 3G «Beeline can Sertolovo city residents, towns and Blacksmithing Vaganova Vsevolozhsk district of the city Kommunar Gatchina district, the city of Primorsk Vyborg district, the village Boilers Kingisepp district, town Old Seredka Luga district, village Kolchanova Volkhov district.

Beeline continues active development of the 3G network in the Leningrad region. During 2010, the number of base stations in the region has been increased by 8 times. The company continues to build on the momentum building, paying particular attention to remote places where wireless Internet is often the only way to access the network.

The network currently 3G «Beeline covers the territory of the Leningrad region, where more than 420 000. The volume of traffic in the 3G network in the Leningrad region each month has grown on average by 20%. In January - February 2011, it increased almost 8 times as compared to the same period in 2010.
