MTS Ukraine improves service "under the supervision of child"
The mobile operator MTS Ukraine announced the expansion of opportunities for LBS-services to locate the subscriber by running the mobile and online version of the service "A child under supervision." With their help users of this service can identify the approximate location of the desired subscriber as a mobile phone and PC, all without using a mobile phone. Search results are displayed on an interactive map.
To access the web-and wap-version service the subscriber needs to send a free blank SMS to number 7006. In response, the subscriber will receive an SMS with the PIN-code to complete registration, as well as one-time fee will be credited with 5 queries to locate friends and relatives through the Internet versions of the service.
Then, the subscriber needs to go at www.poisk.mts.com.ua (via a PC browser) or wap.poisk.mts.com.ua (via mobile phone browser) and the block "Enter" select "Registration". Next, enter the PIN-code and then test it - to come up with username and password that will be used to log into the system.
As stated by the operator, the service "A child under the supervision of" protected from misuse. For example, to obtain information about the location of the subscriber service user must get confirmation from the unknown person. Without this confirmation to know the whereabouts of a subscriber's impossible. Moreover, for working with mobile and Internet versions of the service "A child under the supervision of" the user must first register using the login and password that is at least 8 characters. The password required the presence of numbers, special characters and uppercase letters.
Mobile users and online versions of the service "A child under the care" can save considerably by ordering a package request for the locations where the cost of one query can be from 0,5 to 2 UAH ($ 1 ~ 8 hr) with VAT without PF.
