ASUS formally introduced at Computex Padfone

As expected, ASUS at Computex 2011 in Taipei, has introduced a new smartphone, called Padfone. Teasers of the device during the week were published in the network, from which it followed that it would sovmeshschat the capabilities of smartphones and tablet. ASUS has also stated that the model will solve the problems of synchronization and communication with the tablet on your smartphone and, moreover, does not require a separate SIM-cards for the smartphone and one for 3G-tablet. As it turned out, the decision for the company was the creation of a smartphone, who as a docking station uses a tablet, which allows to use more appropriate for a specific task form factor.

If we close our eyes to what the user actually Padfone still need to have with you and a smartphone and a tablet, then extend the functionality of a smartphone present. Unfortunately, the size has not yet named, but the footage showed that the flatbed portion Padfone clearly will have an impressive enough thickness, since the smartphone retracts into it. The advantage is that when you use the tablet as a docking station, the phone is recharged from the much more capacious battery, this will increase the battery life directly to the phone, but is unlikely to have a positive impact on the time of the tablet. In the case of the tablet to surf the Internet using a communication module built into the smartphone - does not have its own plate. As stated by the ASUS interface is designed so that despite the difference in the size of the screen the user experience was similar and equally convenient.

Unfortunately, no technical details about the tablet is unknown. It is assumed that the sale of this hybrid will come in late autumn, and its operating system will be Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
