Sky Link has tested a multi-modem in Krasnodar and Moscow

The mobile operator Sky Link, the exhibition "Svyaz-Expocom-2011" has tested a multi-multidiapazonny modem based on the new chip Qualcomm MDM6600 network EVDO Rev.B in Krasnodar and Moscow and in the experimental zone of UMTS 2100.

Currently, in accordance with the agreement signed by Alcatel-Lucent in May 2010, the upgraded network in Krasnodar to EVDO Rev.B, which allows to dynamically combine multiple channels and combine their bandwidth (the combination of three carriers of 5 MHz increases speed data acquisition up to 14.7 Mbps).

Krasnodar Territory is the first region, where services will be available to subscribers of the upgraded network 3G EVDO. The network currently EVDO Rev.B, built on the equipment Alcatel-Lucent, has been tested and technically ready for launch.

Weight modem - 32 grams, Size 35.4 x 87.52 x 10.9 mm, there is a connector for an external antenna to amplify the signal in areas of uncertain reception. New multi-standard modem will go on sale in the second half of 2011. In what line of multi-standard modems will be expanded: in addition to AnyDATA terminal equipment are also ready to supply Huawei, Olive Telecom and other manufacturers.
