Verbatim has released a new SSD-drive with a SATA II interface

Verbatim has produced a new line of 2.5''SSD (SSD - Solid State Drive) with interface SATA II. The new drives will be, according to the manufacturer, an ideal replacement for hard drives in addressing file storage for laptops and desktop computers. They provide high data transfer rate: up to 250 Mb / s - Read and 220 MB / sec - write, faster boot-up system, an improved system response and a longer battery life, while providing a high level of crashworthiness.

The package includes SATA II SSD 3.5''adapter and power cable for additional installations. Drives will be available in July 2011, they will be available for a suggested retail price of 3,870 rubles for 64 GB, 7,140 rubles for a 128 GB and 14,100 rubles for 256 GB.
