"Intertelecom" launches fastest mobile 3G-Internet in Ukraine
Ukrainian operator "Intertelecom" announced the beginning of commercial exploitation of technology CDMA / EV-DO Rev B + and the provision of data services based on it.
A feature of this version of CDMA is the possibility of combining up to three standard CDMA-channel between the subscriber and base station and an improved operation of the radio interface. Because of this, the maximum possible peak data rate mode RevB + up to 14.7 Mbit / c of the base station to the subscriber and 5.4 megabits / c of the subscriber to the base station. Increase speed limit allows subscribers to receive higher average speed (not less than three-fold increase in the same place and at the same time) than the RevA, priority transmission of data packets to significantly improve the uniformity of the data rate.
Improved performance will allow subscribers to mobile mode greatly improve the comfort of the Internet, e-mail, offers the latest features and mobile Internet services: Online HD TV, video conferencing and video streaming services, the exchange multimediynyym content.
In the first phase of commercial operation mode EV-DO RevB + included in most base stations in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk, Lviv, Kharkiv regions, the cities of Odessa and Kiev, as well as a number of base stations Vinnitsa region, especially in rural areas, according to coverage map. Until the end of the year in mode EVDO RevB + will be translated into at least 85% of all base stations in all regions of Ukraine.
To gain access to work in the new regime in the coverage area the subscriber is required RevB + modem that supports this technology, and service activation in SMC or in an automated system for care of existing customers. New subscribers to the appropriate tariff plan is possible in the SMC or in an automated customer service system. Buy a modem can be at any point or dealer SMC.
