New Android Tablet ARCHOS c from hard drive and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor

The French company introduced two new ARCHOS Tablets models running operating system, Android 3.1 (Honeycomb), equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4 and 250 GB hard drives, Seagate: 8-inch ARCHOS G9 80 and 10-inch ARCHOS 101 G9.

A distinctive feature of new products, as claimed by the manufacturer, is expanding due to various USB devices, including 3G connectivity networks. For example, these devices available for 3G USB modem (surcharge), which can be connected to an ordinary PC or laptop, and when it connects to the tablet, the modem is part of the device. Thus, customers will not have to make choices when buying a device to buy - with the support of mobile networks, or only with access to Wi-Fi networks.

In addition, the company emphasize the use of their updates to the new dual-core processor from Texas Instruments - OMAP 4 running at 1.5GHz, and who, as the manufacturer, has 50% more performance compared to similar devices operating at 1 GHz processor Nvidia Tegra 2.

Both the tablet can play Full HD (1080p) video and output it to external devices, thanks to the HDMI port.

But the most interesting point in these plates, perhaps, is its price: an 8-inch model starts at $ 279 mark, and 10-inch starts its sales from $ 349. Home sales scheduled for September this year.
