LG LSM-100: mouse-scanner
The South Korean company LG Electronics announced a new model of computer mouse that can also play the role of hand-held scanner - LG LSM-100.
Hold down the Smart Scan on the left side of the mouse, the user simply hold your mouse over the scanned material. The scanned image can be saved to a file of various types - PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS and DOC - drag and drop (drag & drop) directly into the application.
In addition, the mouse LSM-100 equipped with a system of optical character recognition (OCR), which can send recognized text to Microsoft Word. Despite its small size, the scanner mouse LSM-100 can scan an image formats up to A3.
