MTS-Ukraine is testing a new version of the service of "MTS Connect 3G» supporting speed up to 14.7 Mbit / s
The mobile operator "MTS Ukraine" announced the beginning of testing technology, CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev.B / B +, which will increase the data rate in CDMA network MTS to 14.7 Mb / s Downstream and offer users a service of "MTS Connect 3G "the new Internet services.
Support the new technology will ensure the CDMA Multi Carrier EV-DO Revision B / B + (MC EV-DO), embedded in all CDMA-network "MTS Ukraine." In addition, during the current year and next MTS plans to build about 500 new base stations as part of the program to expand the existing coverage and increase the overall capacity of CDMA-operator network.
At the moment, all CDMA-network "MTS Ukraine" provides support technology Rev.B. Established now release software (34) already allows you to combine two of the three carriers, ie reach speeds of 6,2 (download) / 3,6 (upload) MB / sec. After installing the next release of software (37 version), MTS is able to combine the three carriers, providing data transfer at speeds of 9.3 / 5.4 MB / sec. Subsequent releases will reach the total score speed 14.7 / 5.4 MB / sec.
