Tirreno Henry became the new technical director of Nokia
Technical Director, Nokia has remained vacant after this summer, it held the Richard Greene (Richard Green) has left the company. He went on leave for personal reasons, but his duties did not return. Official reasons for the dismissal was not called, but, according to the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat, the problem was a disagreement between the technical and executive directors - Richard Green did not share the views of Stephen Elop to the company. Mr. Greene has worked at Nokia for only one year, but the deal with Microsoft has left him virtually out of business - most of the software developments of the Finnish company was recognized as unnecessary, because the future was supposed to focus on the development of American corporations. In fact, since leaving on vacation, Richard Green in June this year, Acting Technical Director, Nokia performed Tirreno Henry (Henry Tirri). Now, he was appointed to the post formally. Tirreno working at Nokia since 2004 and previously headed a research center. He is known for great theoretical studies have been published in more than 160 scientific papers. It is remarkable that Henry does not intend to carry Tirreno its office in Espoo, and will continue to work in the U.S., in California town of Sunnyvale. This is another sign that Nokia, though, and continues to be the Finnish company, with the advent of Elop increasingly drawn to the United States.
