ASUS Transformer Prime will be released in December with Ice Cream Sandwich
The second-generation tablet Transformer from ASUS will be available later than planned. The decision to postpone the start of sales of the tablet ASUS Eee Transformer Prime in December 2011 may be taken in order to model out immediately with running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. According to DigiTimes, ASUS company failed to enlist the support of Google Android 4.0 OS to adapt to their plates, which previously was not - an American developer showed no interest in Taiwanese companies involved in developing the tablets. But now, apparently they were able to interest in the transition from the tablet with Android 3.2 for the version with Ice Cream Sandwich. At the same time, ASUS has a roadmap of the model and running Windows 8, which should appear in the second half of 2012. The original plans for the official conclusions of the model ASUS Eee Transformer Prime have been scheduled for November 9, 2011. Now, however, indicated that delivery time is shifted to the beginning of December, but instead of Android Honeycomb will be more advanced version of Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet is based on the Nvidia Tegra 3, but its basic characteristics have not yet been made public. It is worth noting that now present on the market model ASUS Eee Transformer sold quite well and, despite the fact that sales of less than the iPad 2, the device is in demand, which is outstripping supply. This allows the company to ASUS in the near future to reduce the cost models, as did other manufacturers Android-plates.
