Mupen64Plus, AE (Xperia Play)

Nintendo64 emulator for the Xperia Play. Mupen64Plus AE supports touchpad input! Mupen64Plus, Android Edition (AE) is a Nintendo64 emulator for Android. It is designed to run on devices back to ARM5 and ARM6, with an optimized version for ARM7a. The current video plug-ins require GLES v2.0. It will not run on earlier versions of GLES (it will either crash or sit at a black screen after choosing a game). I am planning to develop a video plug-in for GLES v1.1, but it will likely be some time before it is ready. If you've run any of the previous debug versions during the Alpha testing phase, you will need to completely remove them before installing this version (or you will receive a signature error, and it won't install). This version is customized specifically for the Xperia Play. It has full analog control using the touchpad, and has common button-mappings already set up. Although this version will run on other devices, if you do not own an Xperia Play, I recommend you use the other version I have listed on the market. The core features of both versions are identical, and will receive updates at the same time. This is a BETA release, and although it will run on ARM5 or ARM6 processors, it will run very slow. Even on modern ARM7a devices, many games will run slow. Over-clocking is highly recommended if your device supports it. There are many game compatibility issues to be worked out. When reporting problems, please include your device model, Android version, and a detailed description. This project is based on the original Mupen64Plus Nintendo 64 Emulator for PC, but it is not officially supported by the Mupen64Plus development team (please direct questions or concerns to me). I am not in any way affiliated or associated with Nintendo. You must have the right to a given ROM before you play it.
