NTT DOCOMO Subscribers Top 60 Million
NTT DOCOMO, INC., Japan’s leading mobile operator and provider of integrated services centered on mobility, announced that the company’s mobile subscribers surpassed 60 million on March 11. The figure includes customers who subscribe to DOCOMO’s LTE, 3G and 2G mobile services.
DOCOMO has continued to add subscribers by expanding its lineup of smartphones and tablet devices in this fast-growing segment of the mobile market. Also, the company has stimulated demand for second devices by introducing new data communication devices, mobile Wi-Fi® routers for the Xi® (read “crossy”) LTE network, and Otayori Photo Panel wireless photo frames.
