SAMSUNG Telecommunications America Appoints New Senior Director of Public Relations

Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S.1,  announced the appointment of Teri Daley, APR as Senior Director of Public Relations. Daley will lead public relations programs in support of Samsung Mobile’s vast product portfolio, and will play a major role in aligning corporate communications with overall business strategies.

“We’re expanding our marketing and public relations initiatives in the U.S. to support our continued growth and strong market position in the telecommunications industry,” said Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Mobile. “Teri’s impressive experience and knowledge in the consumer and technology sectors will ensure our product leadership and brand messaging is communicated strategically and effectively to our media and consumers.”

Daley joins Samsung Mobile with 20 years of communications industry experience including more than 11 years supporting global clients in technology, telecom and wireless industries. Before joining Samsung Mobile, Daley founded 1 Degree PR, a strategic communications planning agency; was previously an Executive Vice President for Edelman Public Relations; and the Senior Vice President/Telecom & Wireless Practice Leader for Ketchum Public Relations where she served as the global account director for Nokia Inc.

Daley holds a Bachelors Degree in journalism from Texas State University and an Accredited Public Relations certification from PRSA.
