Quad NVIDIA Tegra chip will get LTE 4 by the end of 2013


The company NVIDIA, if you believe the Chinese Web site VR-Zone, plans to release at least four different versions of the new Tegra processor 4. They all appear in the next year and based on them, obviously, will be built new, powerful smartphones and tablets. As indicated in the table, in the first quarter of 2013 will be NVIDIA Tegra T40 - quad-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz.

Then, in the third quarter of next year, the scheduled appearance of three models: NVIDIA Tegra T43, AP40 and SP3X. NVIDIA Tegra T43 - is the flagship quad-core processor with 2 GHz, and NVIDIA Tegra AP40 is designed more for the mass market and has a clock frequency of 1.2-1.8 GHz. And finally, the single chip NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor supporting LTE - SP3X is clocked at 1.2-2 GHz.
