WD Scorpio Blue: 7-mm drives for ultrabukov

Western Digital Corp. today announced the immediate availability of compact hard disks, which are suitable not only for conventional laptops, but also for their thinner counterparts - ultrabukov. 2.5-inch WD Scorpio Blue hard drives have a thickness of 7 mm. They are, according to the manufacturer, have low power consumption, working quietly, thanks to technology, and WD WhisperDrive able to withstand a blow to the 400G.

According to the company Western Digital, the supply of new hard drives for ultrabukov already started (for some retailers in the U.S.). Hard drives are available in versions with 320 GB and 500 GB. The recommended value of 320-GB version is $ 79.99 and the 500 GB version - $ 99.99.
