13-inch tablet Archos FamilyPad released in December

The company Archos has officially announced that its tablet FamilyPad go on sale in Europe next month. This device, as the name implies, is intended for use by all members of the family and, mostly, at home, because the tablet is big enough. Archos FamilyPad equipped with 13.3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 10-point multi-touch, it can play video, audio (there are built-in speakers), supports games designed to work with e-mail, can work as a family organizer and more.

The device is based on a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and running the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Also among the features - 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, microSD-slot, 2-megapixel camera on the back and the front panel and HDMI-out. Without charging Archos FamilyPad be able to work up to 10 hours of video playback and up to 6 hours of standby time. At first, this model will be in the UK - in December at a price of 275 pounds sterling, and then will be released in France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands for 299 euros.
