Sony C6603 Yuga appeared - pictures of the prototype
UPDATE: The Yuga comes in a unibody enclosure in which you replace the battery can not (unfortunately). Therefore it offers a MicroSD slot and a small HDMI port mirroring function.
To what extent one bothers the non-removable battery, everyone must judge for himself. On my HTC One X has never bothered me.
Some time ago, the first are benchmarks of the new Android flagships of Sony showed up. Since the Sony C6603 aka Yuga was leaked. Even then it was thought of a quad-core processor, 5-inch Full HD display and Android 4.1.1.
Now already the first photos of the prototype have surfaced. This I would not deprive you. The leaked information about the specifications are partially true. The "Yuga" features a quad-core processor, which is clocked at 1.5 GHZ, a 12 MP camera, a full HD display with 5 inches. In addition the unit comes with 2 GB of RAM
On the right side is the power button (silver). (I like it very well)
The whole thing is still running Android 4.1.1. When and if it ever released, is still unclear.
Conclusion:
I personally like the pictures of the prototype very well. Sony has improved since years and I've considered many times to buy a Sony smartphone. This prototype shows that Sony is on a high-end device at it and that the specs and the whole package can be proud. We can only hope that Sony has the device as soon as possible to the public imagines and brings to the market.
