Online "MTS Ukraine" - the invasion of the "androids"

The mobile operator "MTS Ukraine" announced that the number of Android-smartphone on the network operator for the first time exceeded one million units.

At the end of 2012 in the MTS had 3.5 million smartphones - 1.3 million more than there were in the network at the end of 2011. The largest increase was in the device running Android, the number of which only 4 quarter of 2012 increased by 73% and exceeded 1.24 million.

Despite the fact that the Android-device showed the strongest growth in the first place is still owned smartphones running different versions of Symbian, the number is decreasing. Therefore, the "androids" still occupy second place in the rating of the operator.

Third place securely hold the mobile devices based on the operating system iOS. Fourth and fifth place at the end of the year belonged to a smartphone running bada OS and Windows, that the growth rate for the quarter was the second after Android.
