Caucasus Branch of OJSC "MegaFon" has summed up a large-scale modernization of mobile networks 2G/3G, implemented in 2012. The operator reports that its Technical Service completed a comprehensive program to expand mobile coverage area, capacity of existing networks and as a result - improving the quality and speed mobile Internet services in 14 regions. Residents of Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Belgorod, Stavropol, Tambov, Grozny, Makhachkala, Cherkessk, Nazran, Nalchik, Vladikavkaz and even hundreds of communities have already experienced a significant improvement in voice quality and benefits of high-speed 3G-Internet from " MegaFon ".

Improved performance of up to 80% of communication facilities, allowing both more than 7 million subscribers. This year, through the optimization of capacity will be expanded mobile networks in the North Caucasus: Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia.
