"Rostelecom" starts commercial operation of 3G + network in Penza

Operator "Rostelecom" (through its subsidiary CJSC "NCC") has announced the commercial launch of its third generation network (3G +) in Penza. In Penza 3G + network of "Rostelecom" is built using modern technology HSPA +, which provides data rates up to 21 Mbit / s (with the possibility of increasing the speed of up to 42 Mbit / s). In the initial phase will be put into operation 76 base stations. With the launch of 3G + mobile network subscribers of "Rostelecom" will benefit from services such as mobile TV, broadband internet access, streaming audio and video. Penza region is the second region in the Volga region, where Rostelecom is beginning to have 3G + network services through its subsidiary company "NSS". In early March, 3G + network was launched in the Ulyanovsk region. At present, the construction and in the coming months will be put into operation the third generation of "Rostelecom", Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saratov, Orenburg and Tatarstan.
