First Galaxy Camera 2 (EK-GN120) Photo Leaked, 20.9-megapixel sensor

At the beginning of May we already reported that Samsung was working on the second-generation Galaxy Camera, which also should allow users to make phone calls. Except for the fact that the device was certified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group there isn’t much known about the new device, however, we today discovered a number of photo’s that were shot with the new camera and it’s pretty clear that the device will see a bump in specs, although this shouldn’t be a surprise to most of you. One of the three photo’s that were shot has a resolution of 5472 x 3080, which means that the Galaxy Camera 2 (EK-GN120) will at least carry a 20.9-megapixel sensor (20.2 effective), clearly a step up from the 16.3-megapixel sensor of the first generation Galaxy Camera. This is all we know so far, but considering the fact that the first-gen Galaxy Camera was making use of a Samsung Exynos (4412), it wouldn’t surprise us of the device would feature the newExynos 5420 that was discovered earlier this week. Samsung might release more information during their event on the 20th of July, although a later date seems more plausible.
