"Rostelecom" has launched the first piece of the LTE network in Sochi

The operator "Rostelecom" launched into operation the first fragment of the network LTE (Long Term Evolution) in Sochi, thus fulfilling the licensing requirements. Before the end of this year, the operator plans to build an LTE network in eight regions. Currently, the "Rostelecom-South" continues to deploy LTE network in Krasnodar and Sochi, as well as on the territory of the Olympic Winter Games 2014 (mountain and coastal clusters.) In 2013, the "Rostelecom" plans in addition to the Krasnodar region to build an LTE network in the Khanty- Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, Republic of Khakassia and North Ossetia - Alania, the Sakhalin Region, Chukotka and the Nenets Autonomous Districts, as well as the Jewish Autonomous Region.
