Tele2 Russia took first subscribers referred by retaining their mobile number

Operator Tele2 December 10 this year, took first subscribers who have used the service of conservation mobile number (MNP). Transition to Tele2 was done from the network "VimpelCom". First four subscribers moved to St. Petersburg, Vladimir, Tver and Novgorod. The process of receiving subscriber side Tele2 Russia was automatically and without any technical glitches. According to the law, the procedure for number portability takes 8 days. The operator has the right to appoint the start of service on any date, but not later than 15 April 2014. First transitions subscribers confirmed - Tele2 Russia is technically ready to accept and let subscribers within the terms of subscriber processing applications. However, the number portability procedure involved many participants, and each of them can have its own degree of technical readiness.
