Third quarter results are disappointing for BlackBerry
Results for the second fiscal quarter of 2013 for BlackBerry were far from positive - losses reached almost one billion dollars, but the outcome of the next three months exceeded this antirecord. For the third quarter of this year, BlackBerry has lost $ 4.4 billion. This revenue also declined dramatically - from $ 1.6 billion to $ 1.2 billion for the quarter. Was sold 1.9 million smartphones, which is about half of the supply of the previous quarter. The only positive news on this background was the message signing a five-year agreement with Foxconn for the joint development and production of smartphones. These devices are expected to be sold in the market of Indonesia and other developing countries. Same messages that currently manufacture smartphones is in transition towards a more profitable business model, a clear roadmap and optimistic outlook, executive director of the drawn words, do not look very convincing.
