New Refund API Launched by IPX
Latest addition to IPX’s existing suite of APIs will enable service providers to easily manage and initiate refunds on transactions.
Ericsson IPX is delighted to announce the launch of a new refund API which will enable service providers to perform refunds for your end-users and subscribers. With this latest addition to our extensive suite of APIs, service providers in the US and Germany can perform refunds on transactions with all operators where this has been integrated. Availability in other markets in future will depend on demand and operator support.
The functionality of the new refund API can be integrated directly into a service provider’s customer care tool quickly and with minimal fuss, making it easy for customer care reps to start initiating refunds. Furthermore, once integrated, they can decide on and initiate refunds independently without relying on IPX or the operator. As such, service providers will be able to self-service manage and track refunds themselves, allowing them to better serve their customers and manage transactions.
