One really good Sony Ericsson W880 clone
There have been many Sony Ericsson clones (Suny Ericssun, Scny Ericsscn) but none come close to this...wow...this is one good copy of the SE W880. Even the Walkman logo and "Sony Ericsson" has been copied exactly (Walkman logo is missing a dot). The design is totally copied but they used a silver front with a orange back (in the real W880 the silver front comes with a black back and the black front comes with an orange back). The keys are a bit changed and on the back camera and speakers moved to a new location. Here are some specs:
- 2.2 inch 176x220 screen
- 1.3 mega pixel camera
- microSD support
- measures 106x45x14 mm
- weighs 75 grams
While this clone is not as slim as the real W880 which is 9.4 mm thick, it almost matches it's weight (just 4 grams heavier). Because it is such a good copy of the real W880, this clone actually looks nice (sorry SE). Too bad there are no pics of the UI. Now if they copied the UI and the phone functions good as well then I think they have a winner. I am sure that this phone will fool many people who have never used or have no knowledge about Sony Ericsson phones. This phone is called the F1 (why bother giving it a name???).
