I find it's best to pull the adjustable straps all the way out so that headpiece cables are really short, and thus just long enough to reach your ears without dangling around too much. I only wish there was a way to also shorten the neck strap a bit. Right now I have a short loop tied into it to shorten it by about 2 inches or so. You can easily wear this under your shirt so that it's hidden away, and not dangling around, and doesn't look as dorky as wearing an earpiece all the time.
