Sony Ericsson teams up with Hello Kitty

We have seen lots of Hello Kitty themed phones before (from crappy Chinese ones to really nice Japanese ones) but I never would have thought Sony Ericsson would actually use the Hello Kitty name on their phones. To be exact...SE is cooperating with Sanrio which means not only Hello Kitty will be used...other characters will also be used (such as My Little Melody and that dude that yawns). This is a special promotion in honor of the holiday season. Anyone buying a new phone will be receive a specially designed phone stand/cradle and an opportunity to win a 85 cm stuffed doll of Hello Kitty. In addition to this, there will be lot's of Sanrio content for the phones (such as themes and wallpaper) and you can send Sanrio ecards from the SE site. I forgot to mention that this is only happening in Hong Kong.
