Win P1c, K818c and Bluetooth accessories in Chinese forum competitions
Three new Chinese-language discussion forums were launched in December 2007 and to celebrate this, Chinese forum participants can win a P1c, a K818c and six Bluetooth™ accessories in three different competitions. Running from January 10-31, 2008, all new Chinese Community members registered during this time and who also participate in the Chinese forums are eligible for the competition.
In addition to receiving real-time technical support from the Sony Ericsson Developer World China team, the moderated forums enable registered, logged in members to get answers to questions by sharing technical problems, information and ideas with other Community members. There are Chinese-language forums in three subject areas: Java™ ME Platform, UIQ 3 and Multimedia. This competition rewards active members who post, reply and share, making a positive contribution to these discussion forums.
1. Win a P1c: Best Contribution Award
The posting with the most technical value, added by a new Community member, in any of the three Chinese forums will win the Best Contribution Award and receive a Chinese-variant Sony Ericsson P1 smartphone.
2. Win a K818c: Best Participation Award
The new member who is most active in participating with postings and replies in the three Chinese forums during the time period of the competition will win the Best Participation Award and receive a Chinese-variant Sony Ericsson K818c Cyber-shot™ phone.
3. Win a Bluetooth accessory: Lucky draw, two prizes per week
All Chinese community members who register during the period of the competition and are active in the discussion forums will be entered into the weekly, random lucky draw where a Bluetooth Stereo Headset HBH-DS980 and Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-120 will be won each week for three weeks.
Winner's announcement
The Best Contribution Award and Best Participation Award will be announced at the end of the competition on January 31, 2008 and notified by e-mail. The Lucky draw winners will be published every Thursday during the competition period so please check the Sony Ericsson Developer World Chinese web section and forums for notification.
After the winners' personal information is verified, they will receive their prizes. Winners located in Beijing will receive their prize in person at the Sony Ericsson offices and winners outside Beijing will receive their prize through the mail from Sony Ericsson. If you are lucky enough to win a prize, please bring personal identification (ID) and a printed copy of the notification e-mail with you when visiting Sony Ericsson's Beijing office.
Terms and conditions
All forum contributions must be written in Chinese and posted in the Chinese forums from January 10-31, 2008. The competitions are open to any Chinese Community member who registers during the period January 10-31, 2008 and is active in the Chinese-language discussion forums.
Members of the Sony Ericsson Developer World team will assess the merit of the forum contributions and decide the winners of the Best Contribution and Best Participation awards. Their judgment cannot be contested. Awards and prizes may not be transferred to another person, nor is it acceptable to accept the award or exchange the award on behalf of someone else.
