Merry to see revenues grow 15-20% sequentially to a new high in 3Q08
Taiwan-based headset maker Merry Electronics expects its consolidated revenues to grow 15-20% sequentially to a new high in the third quarter of this year.
Shipment schedules of new products for the second half of the year are on track and have not been affected by growing concerns of global economic uncertainty, said sources at Merry.
New products to be delivered starting the second half include two hands-free headsets, three speakers and two Bluetooth headsets, the sources noted.
Based on Merry's second-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$2.15 billion (US$70.7 million), the company's revenues are expected to top a record high of NT$2.58 billion in the third quarter compared to the previous high of NT$2.5 billion recorded in the fourth quarter of 2007, according to estimates by market sources.
