Huawei Dedicated to Customer Success
Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunication solutions to operators around the world, held its 2009 Global Industry Analyst Summit in Shenzhen on April 22-23. Around 50 industry analysts over 20 consulting firms participated in the event. With the theme "Dedicated to Customer Success", Huawei explained the drivers of the company' s rapid development and shared its views on industry trends.
Huawei believes that advanced technology, products, solutions and management systems are only effective if they contribute to the business success of its customers. " The reasons for our success are many, however, central to our growth has been our focus on customer-centric innovation, technology leadership and a rapid response to changing customer needs." said Kevin Tao, President of Global Marketing, Huawei, in his opening address.
Talking about Huawei' s growth in last year, Duncan Clark, Chairman of BDA (China), said: "In 2008 Huawei achieved superlative revenue growth while increasing operating margins. Huawei's strategy of customization for individual client needs has won converts the world over, from global Tier 1 operators in developed markets to regional operators in high growth markets."
Malik Camal Saadi, analyst from Informa, said: "In a time where the global mobile infrastructure market is hit by the global economy slowdown, Huawei continues to enjoy healthy growth partly thanks to its integrated solutions that provide operators with the right balance between cost reduction to offset maturity and growth pressure, and innovation to deliver on the evolution of the user needs."
With topics such as "innovation", "network transformation" and "green telecommunication", Huawei showcased its capabilities in both emerging market and developed market. During the two-day conference, participating analysts also had the opportunities to visit Huawei' s laboratories and interact with its customers.
