Samsung presented a phone-based operating system Android
South Korean company Samsung Electronics today introduced its first device in the operating system, Android - model Samsung I7500. The company stressed that it was the first producer of «big three», issuing phone OS to Android.
Samsung I7500 - has a 3.2 AMOLED touch screen and support communication standards such as HSDPA 7.2Mbps and WiFi, offering users access to the Internet and the Google Mobile services at high speeds.
Samsung I7500 provides access to the entire package of services Google, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar and Google Talk. Integrated GPS-receiver allows full use of Google Maps, such as My Location, Google Latitude, Street View, search the area, as well as construction and a detailed description of the route. A Wikitude application provides users with information about them to unknown places or other places with the help of the articles in the encyclopedia Wikipedia.
Samsung I7500 is equipped with almost all the most advanced multimedia capabilities. In addition to the large and bright 3.2 "AMOLED-display device is provided 5Mp camera and support for multiple video formats, I7500 offers long-term work on batteries (battery capacity is 1500mAch) and a solid amount of memory up to 40Gb (8GB internal memory + memory card plus a capacity of up to 32Gb). All of these technological solutions enclosed in a thin and compact body just 11.9 mm thick.
Samsung I7500 will be in retail chains in most European countries in June 2009.
